LIFT, written by Ian Watson and Craig Adams, is musical “about love, life and loss in a London lift.”
The musical was first developed at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone, and released as a concept album.
Lift had its world premier at the Soho Theatre in London in January 2013. The show received positive reviews, with critics praising the “delightful” score and strong performances of the cast, though they agreed that the show needed more development.
A revival was announced to play at the Southwark Playhouse in May, 2022.
